The short version

Dugnad stores the things your household puts into it: tasks, shopping items, recipes, appointments and reminders. We use that data to run the app for you and for nothing else. We do not sell it, we do not advertise, and we do not share it with anyone except the services we need to run Dugnad.

What we collect

  • Your email address and the name you give us, to run your account.
  • The content your household creates: tasks, lists, recipes, appointments, activity history and points.
  • A push notification subscription, if you turn notifications on.
  • A daily count of how often you use the AI recipe features, to enforce fair-use allowances.

Who can see your household's data

Only the members of your household. Each household's data is walled off from every other household at the database level.

Services we rely on

  • Supabase stores your account and household data.
  • Vercel hosts the app.
  • Resend sends reminder emails.
  • Anthropic (Claude) and Tavily power the recipe features. When you search for a recipe or extract ingredients, the dish name, recipe page content and your requests are processed by these services. Your household's tasks and personal details are never sent to them.

Your rights

You can download everything Dugnad holds about you from Settings (Export my data), and you can delete your account and its data from Settings at any time. If you own a household, deleting your account deletes the household and everything in it, with a clear warning first. Under UK GDPR you also have the right to correction and to complain to the ICO.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from the live database immediately.
